𝐒𝐄𝐌𝐈𝐍𝐀𝐑 No. 09 on “Multiscale simulation of granular materials in construction”

𝐒𝐄𝐌𝐈𝐍𝐀𝐑 No. 09 on “Multiscale simulation of granular materials in construction”, held on the morning of 26/11/2022, concluded successfully with the participation of more than 10 lecturers from Vietnam and abroad. The purpose of this seminar was to:

- Give lecturers of the Faculty of Civil Engineering and the Faculty of Bridge and Road Engineering in particular, and the University's lecturers and researchers in general, the opportunity to engage in academic exchange with the speakers on practical and topical subjects, thereby shaping research directions that serve teaching and in-depth research.

- Create research cooperation opportunities for the University's lecturers and researchers, helping to promote cooperation in research and technology transfer between Danang Architecture University and universities and research institutes in Vietnam and abroad.

- In addition, the speaker shared further experience and introduced a multiscale simulation method combining the finite element method and the discrete element method to study the behaviour of granular materials in construction. Participating lecturers actively raised many questions and discussed the seminar topic, and the speakers answered them thoroughly.

The knowledge and experience shared by the speaker during the programme will certainly benefit the lecturers' research and teaching in the time ahead.
