πππππππ No. 08 on βSoil liquefaction and laboratory assessment of the liquefaction potential of foundation soilsβ, held on the afternoon of 17/6/2022, concluded successfully with the participation of more than 10 lecturers from Vietnam and abroad. The purpose of this seminar was to:
- Introduce the phenomenon of liquefaction of foundation soils under dynamic loads caused by earthquakes, and methods for assessing liquefaction resistance through laboratory tests.
- Create research cooperation opportunities for the University's lecturers and researchers, helping to promote cooperation in research and technology transfer between Danang Architecture University and universities and research institutes in Vietnam and abroad.
During the Seminar, the speaker LΓͺ Trung Trα» - Lecturer at the Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City - shared a great deal of research on the Liquefaction of Soils under various conditions caused by earthquake loading.
At the end of the presentation, guests from Vietnam and abroad held a lively discussion with the speaker, raising questions and comments on the speaker's research topic. These exchanges opened up many issues and offered thorough explanations of the soil liquefaction phenomenon.
The monthly scientific Seminar series has truly given the University's lecturers, researchers and graduate students opportunities for in-depth academic exchange, helping to strengthen the internal research capacity of Danang Architecture University and creating opportunities for exchange and research cooperation between Danang Architecture University and universities and research institutes in Vietnam and abroad.
