Proud of D.A.U: One Graduation Project - Two Prestigious Milestones

From the Loa Thanh Award to the 2025 Outstanding Landscape Architecture Graduation Project Award

Recently, the 2025 Outstanding Landscape Architecture Graduation Project Awards ceremony, organised by the Vietnam Landscape Architects Branch (under the Vietnam Association of Architects), officially took place at the University of Architecture Ho Chi Minh City to honour outstanding graduation projects by students nationwide.

Running from 06/6 to 30/8/2025, the award attracted interest from many prestigious training institutions across the country. Of the 31 entries, Danang Architecture University had 03 projects in the competition. Notably, student Phạm Huỳnh Hiếu won SECOND PRIZE with the project “Dai Ngan Cemetery Park Planning” | Supervisor: MSc. Arch. Tôn Nữ Yến Ly

The design concept is based on the principle of the Five Elements (Metal – Wood – Water – Fire – Earth), with each functional zone having its own spatial character, colours and materials. All blend together to create a multi-layered emotional journey while ensuring feng shui balance and overall landscape harmony.

The design aims for harmony between the natural landscape and memorial spaces, contributing to a park with spiritual depth and strong humanistic value.

Congratulations to Phạm Huỳnh Hiếu on this proud achievement. We wish you continued confidence on your professional journey and many more meaningful landscape spaces created for the community in the future.
