Opening Ceremony of the DAU – PolyU 2026 Community Service Student Exchange Programme

On the morning of 29/6/2026, the Community Service Student Exchange Programme between Danang Architecture University and The Hong Kong Polytechnic University officially opened with the participation of more than 50 students from the two universities, accompanied by members of the CORMIS Centre. This is an opportunity for young people to engage in cultural exchange, unleash their creativity and work together on activities for the community.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Dr. Arch. Phạm Anh Tú - Vice Rector of the University emphasised the significance of the programme in strengthening international cooperation, promoting student exchange and enabling learners to apply their knowledge and skills to projects of humanistic and sustainable value.

On the afternoon of the same day, students from the two universities listened to an introduction to the art of glass painting given by MSc. Nguyễn Thị Thu Hà and took part in a hands-on activity painting on drinking glasses. Through this activity, they learned more about the technique, the aesthetic value and the distinctive features of this unique art form.

With a diverse series of upcoming activities, the programme is expected to bring many opportunities for connection, cooperation and hands-on experience for students of both universities.
