K26 has officially “switched on the mood” at DAU!

Booths: ON. Performances: ON. Energy: 1000%. DAUers: NO OFF MODE. 😎

A very different day at DAU, as the campus came alive with colours, music and the special energy of the Welcome Festival for K26 freshmen.

This was not only the first day for K26 to get familiar with a new environment, but also an occasion for the “rookies” to officially meet, connect and blend into the DAU community. Accompanying K26 were current students of the University – who added laughter, enthusiasm and a bit of “survival experience” to make the university journey of the newcomers feel more welcoming.

From colourfully prepared booths and energetic interactive activities to lively musical performances, every moment carried a truly DAU spirit: young, creative and always ready to connect.

There, K26 did not just watch from the sidelines. They took part directly, tried things out, made new friends and created their first memories at the University. Senior DAUers also had the chance to become “torchbearers” – playing together, sharing and helping the new faces quickly feel that DAU is not only a place to study, but also a place to belong.

Because the university journey is not made only of hours in the lecture hall. It is also made of preparing an activity together, newly made friends, laughter on a festival day and seemingly small experiences that will become part of the memories of an entire student life.

For K26, this may be one of the first milestones of the 4-year journey ahead. For DAUers currently studying at the University, it is an opportunity to come together and shape a new generation of students – more dynamic, more connected and more ready to explore.

K26 is officially “ON”. DAUers are ready too. The next activities are loading – there is much more excitement waiting ahead!
